Why an Online Class
Recent research demonstrates that online classes result in a more valuable learning experience than traditional face-to-face classes. We know this well -- we are experts at online instruction and have helped several universities create and improve their online classes. In the process, we have received very positive feedback from adult students who find the online learning format to be superior to classroom training.
What to Expect
You "attend" class by logging into a virtual classroom that runs inside your web browser. We use the same system used by leading universities. You participate when and where you want to -- the entire experience is asynchronous so you can make it fit your schedule. Each week is similar in flow:
- Reading: from the NPDP body of knowledge, read the key concepts product managers must know.
- Online Lecture: a review of key concepts presented by an NPDP expert you can read/watch anytime you wish.
- Discussion Forums: similar to using email, interact with others studying for the NPDP exam and your NPDP-expert instructor. This interaction is enjoyable and reinforces key information.
- Practice Exams: reinforce your knowledge by completing Practice Exams that contain questions similar to those on the NPDP certification exam.
Time Required
Standard classes run 6 weeks. Depending on your level of experience with product management, you should plan on two to six hours each week. Courses customized to corporations are also available.
Cost
The online class includes the NPDP Study Guide, NPDP Practice Exam Questions, course materials, and instructor interaction for six weeks at a cost of $699. Learners are responsible for acquiring the required core NPDP books.
